Early Work
Representational work from life.
Blackburnian Warbler
(1987), Graphite, 13” x 15”
This was done as an accepted submission for the juried exhibition, Birds in Art, at the Leigh Yawkley Museum, 1987. I love the outdoors and my native Wisconsin wildlife so I chose this bird to illustrate as it is hard to see in its high tree habitat.
